- An identity of your own
Use your Butterfly avatar and handle. Your Butterfly profile is separate from your QuickDate dating profile, so the two modes have their own introductions.
- A colour with personality
Answer eight Vibe Color questions to discover one of 16 butterfly colors inspired by nature. Explore your result and the personalities that complement it.
- A planet full of people
Tap a butterfly to see the person’s profile, interests and posts. Follow the conversations that catch your attention.
- A nudge from Connect now
Tap “Connect now” for up to three compatible people selected by AI, once per day. Choose whom you would like to get to know and send a text introduction.
- A hello is all it takes
Open someone’s profile, tap Message and send a text introduction. Once they reply, the conversation opens up for more messages and shared moments.
- Find your kind of room
Join voice rooms around interests such as music, games, studying and language exchange. Listen in or join the conversation.
- Share a little of your world
Post thoughts, photos and videos on the Square. Comment, follow people you enjoy and find a familiar face in the feed.
- Keep a good conversation going
Chat with contextual icebreakers, photos and GIFs, then connect through voice or video calls. Suggestions go into your draft; you choose what to send.

Block or report when you need to. Menus, guidance and conversation suggestions support English, Japanese and Chinese.
